My Approach

Home-visit lessons

Learn to play the violin from the comfort of your own home with friendly, personalised mobile violin lessons in Danbury (Chelmsford) area. I travel to students’ homes within a 5-mile radius of Danbury, making lessons convenient and enjoyable for learners of all ages.

Whether you are a complete beginner or working towards Grade 5 ABRSM, lessons are tailored to suit your goals, ability and pace. I welcome both children and adults and aim to make learning the violin encouraging, rewarding and fun.

I am available for lesson bookings Mondays to Saturdays after 5pm.

Suzuki Method

I offer violin lessons based on the renowned Suzuki Method, which emphasizes learning through repetition and consistent practice. For complete beginners, especially young students, I also use the Fiddle Times Joggers book series.

In addition to violin instruction, I have extensive knowledge of music theory and incorporate it into lessons as appropriate.

Ensuring your instrument is always in perfect tune and condition, I provide free check and minor adjustments during lessons.

Fees

Pricing:

• £20 for half an hour (best for younger students)

• £40 for an hour (adults or advanced players)

The first violin lesson is free. During this introductory session, I will explain the lesson structure, check the instrument, and teach the basics of holding the violin properly.
